Instituto Politécnico de Santarém (Portugal)
Instituto Politécnico de Santarém, an institution of public higher education, offers courses in several degrees. As a Polytechnic institution, it also has the responsibility to teach and train students for more technical and professional practices and approaches, focusing on vocational and short-term training in sports, education, finances, marketing, ICT, social services, and veterinary training. Also, IPSantarém has extensive expertise in both formal and non-formal learning.
Over the last years, IPSantarém had an active role in youth work with several youth work activities such as internships, job experiences, and other initiatives that promoted youth engagement. Moreover, IPSantarém invested in developing specific projects to support disadvantaged background youngsters and their needs regarding searching for more opportunities, specifically.
The Research Hub’ Digital Literacy and Inclusion’, based at the Polytechnic Institute Santarém, was created on February 5th, 2020. This center extends the research unit, Centre for Research in Arts and Communication (Algarve), which received a Very Good Classification by the Foundation for Science and Technology. The general objectives of the Research Centre: Digital Literacy and Inclusion are the following:
1) The enhancement of knowledge ensuing from Scientific and Technological Research in Digital Literacy and Inclusion of disadvantaged people in the labor market.
2) The strengthening of excellence in digital literacy as an effective strategy for labor market inclusion.
3) The testing of the effectiveness of innovative resources and methodologies through empirical scenarios to promote employability.
4) The promotion of a holistic inclusion support model, targeted to people with disadvantages, that globally replicates (e.g., companies, HEI’s, NGO’s.) with practices, resources, methods, linkages, and correlations in the digital literacy domain, towards successful and sustainable social and labor inclusion.

Endurae (Estonia)
Endurae Voice Technology OÜ (EVT) is a private, for-profit SME, incorporated in Estonia. Founded in 2018, it is a learning experience design studio and consultancy. The activity of the SME to date has been twofold:
1) As a consultancy for partners who desire to build new or enhance existing engaging and interactive learning experiences in their offerings
2) It assists partners with the technological capacity to develop their own learning experiences by designing appropriate scenarios, user flows, and interactions, especially for privacy-related domains, such as education or other learning applications.
Endurae works with institutions and organizations by valuing new ways of building new and enhancing existing engaging and interactive learning experiences. Endurae focuses on Research and Development Technology and it offers a service design-oriented solution. In addition, it consists of a tailored service team in design technologies, mainly for disadvantaged target groups.

Institutul de Cercetare a Calității Vieții (Romania)
Founded in 1990 as part of the “Costin C. Kiritescu” National Research Institute, under the patronage of the Romanian Academy, the Research Institute for Quality of Life (RIQL) is one of the most important socio-economic research institutions in Romania and has solid experience. At the national level, being recognized in the collection, interpretation, and analysis of social data. With a team of highly qualified researchers, the institute conducts basic research on a wide range of subjects, such as quality of life and social indicators; education, health, social policy and social inclusion, employment, social development, social economy, and social entrepreneurship, the capital. As a reference institution in socio-economic research, the ICCV paid special attention to the issue of social development.
RIQL provides consultancy services and contributes to institutional development and social policy development, as well as to the evaluation of public and social policy measures at both the national and European levels. IDEC S. A. (Greece)
IDEC is a training consulting company located in Piraeus, Greece, established in 1989. Its activities consist of training, management consulting, quality assurance, evaluation and development of digital solutions for both private and public sector. Clients of IDEC are both SMEs and the bigger Greek companies from a wide variety of sectors. IDEC co-operates with more than 800 institutes all over Europe and with about 300 experts on specific fields.
IDEC has extensive experience in European projects, either as coordinator or as partner within different European programs and Initiatives. Over the last 18 years IDEC has worked extensively on the area of quality assurance in training and has coordinated the projects EQUAL, Quality.net, BEQUAL and QUADRAT on this topic. IDEC also has consulting experience in developing Quality Management systems in Greek training centres. IDEC is accredited as a lifelong learning centre, organising in-service training courses for teachers and trainers, study visits and informal learning activities for students in initial education and training, and provides training courses and work placements for students in vocational training and people in the labour market.
